Taylor Swift, who embarked on her Eras Tour in March 2023, just concluded her final show in Vancouver with a heartfelt nod to the beginning of her music career.
The 34-year-old pop superstar gave an emotional speech during the show, thanking her fans for the “joyful, exciting, intense, powerful and wonderful” tour experiences.
The Anti-Hero hitmaker went on to say that she has been on any tours in her career but Eras Tour was unlike any earlier shows she has played.
Swift expressed that she never really wanted it to end “because you guys have made it into such a wonderful experience for all of us on stage.”
For the surprise song section in the show, the 14-times-Grammy winner gave fans a glimpse into multiple eras as she performed A Place in This World from her debut album Taylor Swift, New Romantics from 1989, Long Live from Speak Now, New Year’s Day from Reputation and The Manuscript from The Tortured Poets Department.
Before jumping into the final song of the night, the Lover songstress said, “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my life so far.”
As Swift concluded the show by performing Karma, giving the last Eras Tour nod to Travis Kelce with her special lyric change, she shared a special moment with backup dancers in a group hug for the last time.
