Donald Trump opens up about his talk with Prince William

Donald Trump has opened up about his “great talk” with Prince William, sharing details of their private conversation during a meeting in Paris on Saturday.

The Prince of Wales, met with the 78-year-old US president-elect following the ceremonial reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral.

The two leaders sat down at the British ambassador’s residence in the Salon Jaune room for a candid discussion.

Speaking to the New York Post, Trump revealed that he took the opportunity to ask about the health of both King Charles, who is undergoing treatment while fulfilling his royal duties, and the Princess of Wales, who completed her chemotherapy in September.

The two spoke privately for over half an hour at the British ambassador’s residence following the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral.

“I asked him about his wife, and he said she’s doing well,” Trump said. “And I asked him about his father, and he said his father is fighting very hard. He loves his father and his wife, so it was sad.”

He also offered some praise for the Prince, complimenting his appearance. “He’s a good looking guy,” Trump remarked. “He looked really, very handsome. Some people look better in person? He looked great. I told him that.”

The two also exchanged light conversation, with William asking Donald if he had warmed up after the chilly event. “It was a beautiful ceremony,” he replied.

Before leaving, he called the Prince “a good man” and praised his work. “He’s doing a fantastic job,” Trump added.
