Anne Hathaway calls her unfit for being ‘Versace’ face?
Anne Hathaway, who became the face of Versace last year, unveiled that she was not worthy enough to be the ambassador for the brand if approached in her 20s.
Now that Anne is 40, she calls this latest partnership as the only right thing happened in this age.
In conversation with WWD, The Idea of You star added: “It’s something I’m very proud of for a lot of different reasons. I am very excited to work for a company that wants to have 40-year-old woman as their face.”
“And by the way, 40 years old does not have to be the ceiling. I love to work with people who love you back, and it’s amazing to be seen by people who are looking for someone like you.”
She further elaborated during the interview, that women working for Versace has a warmth in them which was quite missing in her in 20s.
“There is a give-and-take and a playfulness and a self-respect, and to respect yourself enough that you can really actually pay attention to everyone else. That is a key quality to being a Versace woman.”
“And I wasn’t there yet in my 20s. I just didn’t have any confidence”, added the ‘Catwoman’ from The Dark Knight Rises.
