Prince Harry gets distracted mid-interview, catches attention in TV appearance

Prince Harry was momentarily distracted during a TV interview over the weekend while attending a Canadian Football League championship game.

The Duke of Sussex sat down with TSN ahead of the match to discuss the upcoming winter Invictus Games, set to take place in Vancouver in February 2025.

During the interview, Harry paused mid-answer as the crowd cheered and called his name. Looking toward the fans, he greeted them with a warm, “Hi guys.”

Returning to the topic at hand, he shared his enthusiasm for the Games, highlighting how they provide a crucial opportunity for participants and their families to heal and rehabilitate through sport.

“This time in less than three months, we’ll be back for the opening ceremony in February, so that’s what we’re really excited about,” he said.

The Duke, who founded the Invictus Games a decade ago while still a working member of the Royal Family, continues to champion the competition for veterans even after stepping down from royal duties in 2020.

The inaugural Invictus Games were held in London in 2014, and this year, the Duke of Sussex marked the anniversary with a special event at St Paul’s Cathedral.

Looking ahead, he revealed that the Invictus Games will return to the UK in 2027, further solidifying his ongoing commitment to supporting wounded servicemen and women.
