Prince William receives heartwarming gift during special outing
Prince William has received a touching gift as he joined in with the Christmas festivities during a special outing in Bulford.
The Prince of Wales was left in stitches by a 10-year-old Carson Heighway as the young child depicted the future King in his self-drawn picture upon his arrival in Wiltshire to meet soldiers of the 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment and their families at the base.
In the heartwarming photo, William – Colonel-in-Chief, 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment – is seen with his beard and thinning hair. The portrait left the royal amusing.
The Prince took time to meet with the soldiers and their loved ones. He also mingled with families, spoke with children and received thoughtful cards and a festive Santa hat intended for his three children—Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
He also shared a glimpse into his Christmas Day plans, revealing that he will join 45 family members for Christmas lunch this year.
Kensington Palace shared the details of the royal’s visit on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s social media accounts to delight the fans.
